The Assumption College Band (Bruce Hopkins, Director) will be playing a Spring Concert on Wednesday, April 25, 2017 in the Curtis Performance Hall at Assumption College, 500 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA.
The Assumption Chorale will be joined by Anna Maria College's choral groups to present an Intercollegiate Choral Festival. The combined groups will present music by Randall Thompson and John Rutter. The remainder of the concert will also feature the select ensembles from each college. Houndsound - Assumption's student-led a cappella ensemble - will also perform on the program along with Anna Maria's a cappella group. The hour-long program is free and open to the public.
The Assumption Camerata, lead by Peter Sulski, presents music of Grieg, Tchaikovsky, and The Rolling Stones.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Inaugural Alumni Art & Design Exhibition in the Emmanuel d’Alzon Library Gallery. This faculty juried show will consist of art and design submitted by the alumni of our studio art and graphic design programs.
NEW DATE and NEW TIME. The Assumption College Band under the direction of its conductor, Bruce Hopkins, will be performing a concert of familiar Holiday repertoire along with its regular concert selections in the Jeanne Y. Curtis Performance Hall in Tsotsis Family Academic Center now on November 30th. Featured will be different instrumental ensembles as well as soloists from the Band. This concert is free and open to the public.
Colleges from in, and around Worcester will be sharing the stage with the Assumption College Jazz Ensemble to present an afternoon of Big Band Jazz.
The Assumption College Jazz Ensemble will be performing classic and contemporary big band arrangements from some of the greatest jazz composers of all time including: Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Charles Mingus, George Gershwin, and others. All are invited!
The Assumption College Chorale in the first concert of the season will present a concert of varied choral works from traditional to contemporary. The Chorale will be directed by Prof. Richard Monroe and accompanied by Mr. Brett Maguire. Please join us in the Foyer of the Tsotsis building immediately following the concert for a reception.
The Assumption College Ecumenical Institute and the Department of Art, Music & Theatre present The Eugénie Milleret Lecture with speaker Caitlin Haskell, Associate Curator of Painting and Sculpture, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, speaking about "Color and Community at the Rothko Chapel”. This event is free and open to the public.
